Dec 15: Things We’ve Been Known to Take for Granted
After a few weeks in a much simpler environment, these are some of the things we’ve noticed that we used to take for granted:

Our Work Crew
- Clean floors
- Quietness
- Not having to go from store to store to find everyday items
- Water pressure
- Warm water
- Drinking water
- Roofs that don’t leak
- Houses sealed from bugs
- Lights (electricity)
- Putting dirty toilet paper in the toilet
- Paved streets

Dinner
Today we shared our lunch with three or four local boys and after lunch they washed all the dishes and washed our floors! They definitely don’t take our food for granted. After lunch it started to pour and our roof was leaking in at least 5 different places. One of the boys showed us how to use a bar of soap to plug the holes. It worked like a charm and our roof is now sealed right up.
